Trim your wick

Candles with a wooden wick may require a tad more maintenance, so it's important to take care of them properly!

A wick too long can cause the flame to be too high. Before each lighting, trim the wick to approximately 1/8" by removing the burnt wood with a wick trimmer, a nail clippers, or even your fingers.

Till the edge

Wax has a good memory! Allow your candle to melt to the edge of the vessel to prevent future tunneling. Ensure that no dust or dirt accumulates on the wax surface.

All in moderation

Ideal burning time ranges from 1 to 4 hours.

Stop using the candle when only 1/4 inch of unmelted wax remains. Without wax to absorb excess heat, the container's temperature may rise, especially if burned for too long.

And of course…
Never leave a burning candle unattended.
Keep away from children and pets.
Burn on a stable, heat-resistant surface away from flammable objects and wind drafts.

Happy burning!

  • Allow your candle to cool down to room temperature.

  • Place the vessel in the freezer overnight.

  • Remove the wax from the vessel by gently popping it out. Use a spoon or a butter knife to remove any remaining residue.

  • Take out the wick holder from the base and clean it with soap and water.
